Vision
and Change
Creativity is a valuable asset to develop innovative teams.
Leadership
We need encouraging and motivated leaders for creating effective
organizations.
Autonomy
and Creativity
The goal is to lead a creative team to innovation and strategically
position the company for the changing market.
Developing
a Creative Work Environment
You need to understand creative people, how they work and what
you can do to help them.
Stewardship
If the people in the company own their jobs they will work harder
faster and with more imagination and creativity.
“Companies pay a premium of as much as 60% on time and budget when they use poor requirements practices on their projects,” according to a recent report from IAG. Developing good practices around requirements gathering and documentation is an important part of any successful organization but especially during times like these when money is tight and a small loss can have catastrophic effects.
There are many reasons to do poor requirements, such as the lack of time or trained personnel, but the overall time savings during the project more than makes up for the effort of pre-planning.
I am a:
A Business Manager
I’m a proud graduate of Pratt Institute where
I obtained my masters degree in design management.
The Design Management Program bridges the disciplines
of design and business management. It is tailored
to provide an executive education more focused than
an M.B.A. on the special needs of design leaders managing
design firms or managing projects in creative industries.
The curriculum is designed to develop strategic management skills in six study areas related to design management: operations management; financial management; marketing management; organization and human resource management; management of innovation and change; and management of local, regional, and global suppliers, distributors, and markets.
A Web Developer
Throughout my career I’ve learned an array of
programming languages, content management systems
and web technologies that have given me a base knowledge
that I can utilize to understand many web issues and
complex systems. I’ve also worked in the pharmaceutical
industry on 3 enormous websites, one of the largest
social networking websites and a very large ecommerce
website.
I work with business teams to assemble project charters and requirements documentation and then work with development teams to bring projects to fruition. I have managed projects using the waterfall methodology and the Agile development process and have received training in both.
I am currently looking for a Web Producer position in or around the New York City area.
